Parent or guardian

The parent role reads eligible records for learners linked to your account. The school must verify and create each guardian link. Creating your account alone does not link your children.

Activate and check your family account

  1. Open the latest invitation sent to your own email address.
  2. Set your password and complete the required sign-in steps.
  3. Sign in. The dashboard shows the current Notices.
  4. In the sidebar, under My school, select Everything of mine.
  5. On the My school page, check the names, admission numbers, and campuses of your linked learners.
  6. Select an area button under the learner whose record you need.

The default sidebar shows these entries:

People → Students lists only your linked learners. Use your own account and mailbox. Do not share a learner's password. Ask the school to review guardian links when a learner is absent or incorrectly linked. Different campuses can show different portal areas. Recheck the learner and campus when you move between siblings.

Follow a learner's academic records

AreaWhat to review
ResultsThe subject, term, score, and approval date of each approved result.
AttendanceRecorded dates and states, including unrecorded entries.
TimetablePublished lessons and dated schedule changes.
SyllabiPublished teaching outlines.
DocumentsPublished report cards and the issued transcript.
School calendarEligible school events and closure days.
NoticesPublished messages addressed to you.

The guardian link gives learner access without staff working-campus membership. Your parent role does not give access to other families' records. Another learner's portal page shows "Not open to you". A staff role held on the same account has its own broader authorized scope. Use role guidance when you are also a teacher or staff member.

A pending result correction leaves the earlier approved result visible. Approving a new result does not update an already issued report card automatically. See result publication instructions when you ask the school about a revision.

Review invoices and campus services

Open Invoices and payments for the intended learner. It is a read-only statement with Still owed, Credit held, and every invoice with its total and balance. The portal has no family checkout. Pay through the school's stated process and keep the transaction reference. Ask the accountant to investigate a mismatch. Give the learner, invoice number, amount, and payment date.

Use Library, Boarding, Programmes, and Graduation progress where available for the learner. Availability depends on the campus feature, portal-area settings, and eligible records. A missing area does not mean that the record was deleted. Confidential health, safeguarding, and support records are not family portal areas.

Submit and follow a request

  1. Open Requests for the intended learner.
  2. Under Ask the school, enter What you need.
  3. Select the Kind of request: Document request, Correction request, Appointment request, or Acknowledgement.
  4. Enter More detail (optional) when the school needs more information.
  5. Select Send.
  6. Under What you have asked for, review the request's state and the school's response.

The states are Sent, Being looked at, Answered, Declined, and Withdrawn. For a correction, identify the record, date or period, current value, and requested change. For a document, identify the learner, document type, and relevant period. An appointment request does not reserve a calendar slot automatically. A document request does not issue a report card automatically. Use Take back to cancel an open request. See family request instructions for the complete workflow.

Manage notifications and account security

Open Notification settings and use Email me a copy of notices for each campus. Account and safety messages, such as a password reset, are always sent. An email preference changes delivery, not the notice's audience. Review profile security and keep recovery codes in a safe place. Ask the administrator about account status or expired links when recovery fails.

ProblemAction
One child is absentAsk the campus to check that child's guardian link and enrollment eligibility.
An unrelated child appearsReport it immediately and ask the school to remove the incorrect link.
A published record is absentAsk whether the area is enabled and the record has been issued or approved.
No notice email arrivesCheck preferences and ask the school to inspect delivery and publication recipients.
A request is Answered but the record remains wrongAsk whether staff completed the underlying correction.

Unlinking a learner removes your access and cancels your open requests for that learner. School records and person accounts remain retained under their normal history rules.
